St John Ambulance is the leading first aid charity in Britain and exists since 1887. Thanks to the work of over 40 000 volunteers and 2 500 employees, each year more than 800 000 people in Enlgand complete a first aid training course.

 

Other services include ambulance services, youth work, homeless projects, care and the provision of first aid at public events such as the London Marathon.

World ParaAthletics Championships

Project

Provision of Ambulance and First Aid cover at the World ParaAthletics Championships. This sporting event will include 213 medal events, featuring approximately 1,300 athletes, and will be held across 10 days of competiton.

The Volunteer

The volunteer will be part of the first aid team servicing the event.

IAAF World Championships

Project

Provision of Ambulance and First Aid cover at the IAAF World Championships. Over 10 magical days, the world’s top athletes will bring the roar back to the iconic stadium that saw Mo Farah, Jessica Ennis-Hill and Usain Bolt race to glory. The London Championships will be the 16th in the event’s 34-year history with the first IAAF World Championships being hosted in Helsinki in 1983.
