Johanniter carries out international humanitarian assistance, as laid out in the statutes of our organization. Responsible for this part of our work is Johanniter International Assistance, based at our head offices in Berlin. Every year, with its national and international staff, Johanniter International Assistance runs around 100 projects worldwide in primary health care, orthotics and prosthetics and disaster response. Our international staff members in the regional and country offices are responsible for implementing these projects locally, as well as for overseeing and monitoring them. For this, we are constantly looking to recruit qualified staff from a medical, project management or finance and administration background. Our job advertisements are regularly updated to inform you of any vacancies. We look forward to receiving your application!
Our volunteer disaster response workers are keys to our professional disaster response interventions. They are ready to be deployed quickly after a disaster occurs and carry out medical assistance in the affected area.
If you are interested in volunteering for the Johanniter International Assistance, then please refer to the information in the volunteering section.
