Welcome

With around 800 employees, the Johanniter-Krankenhaus Stendal is one of the most important health centres in the region. Approximately 50,000 patients are treated annually as inpatients and outpatients within our specialist hospital. Our doctors perform more than 8,000 operations a year. Around 400 beds are available.

As an academic teaching hospital of the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, we train doctors. At the same time, we run a nursing school. In addition, we offer training positions in other areas. A total of 80 trainees are currently learning with us. Our mission statement and our more than 150 years of hospital tradition in Stendal oblige us to use the most modern, best possible medicine and technology.
