Support for civil society organizations
In this project, we are working with five partner organizations to support civil society groups in Cambodia, Myanmar, and Thailand. The aim is to strengthen the capabilities and stability of these local organizations so that they can work effectively to bring about social change in the long term.
The project helps partners develop more effective internal rules and strategies (e.g., child protection, finance, human resources, procurement). It provides training for employees and multipliers, advice on reviewing and introducing monitoring and evaluation systems (PMEAL), and training on writing applications and reports. Planned activities include kick-off and closing workshops, annual planning and reflection meetings, ToT (training of trainers) events, experience exchanges, and practical participation in community projects so that what has been learned can be applied. Documentation, support, partner meetings, and exchange trips are also funded. The project will run until June 2027.
