We take a comprehensive approach to empowering people and enabling them to live in dignity. Together with our partners, we provide emergency aid after disasters and crises and support disaster preparedness. We promote people's health through prevention, hygiene measures, and medical care. We also support the restoration of livelihoods and food security. With our inclusive approach, we place particularly disadvantaged people at the center of our work and support local actors in achieving our common goals.

In all our programs, we are committed to empowering women and girls, as they are particularly affected by the effects of crises. Sustainability also plays a crucial role in our work in order to contribute to a future worth living.
