Better healthcare in Northern Thailand

This project improves emergency care in Mae Sot (northern Thailand) and strengthens the regional health system for people living on the Thai-Myanmar border.

Our measures:

- Establishment and technical and personnel equipping of an emergency care unit (ECU) at the Mae Tao Clinic

- Training in emergency medicine for healthcare personnel at the MTC and eight ethnic health organizations

- Further training in emergency care for mothers and newborns (BEMONC/EMOC) for midwives, doctors, and other healthcare personnel

- Lectures, seminars, and conferences on various health topics for medical professionals
