Health for Mothers and Children

What it's about:

The project aims to improve access to medical care for pregnant women and children from particularly vulnerable groups - especially Syrian refugees and Lebanese families in need - in the Bekaa Valley. Gynecological and pediatric examinations will ensure that basic medical care continues to be guaranteed even in the current economic crisis and with decreasing financial support. In addition, a study is being carried out to analyze the effects of a possible return of Syrian refugees on the Lebanese healthcare system and to develop recommendations for the future.
