Project for the decrease in gender-based violence

The programme supported by our partner organisations WPM and TPO contributes to the reduction of gender-based violence (GBV) & domestic violence (DV) and improves the response measures of the target group and the intermediary structures in the three provinces. The aim of the programme is to ensure that community-based and gender-sensitive services for prevention and for better understanding and dealing with GBV and its consequences exist and are used by community members. Offerings in the form of self-help groups lead to the use of positive coping strategies when symptoms of fear, anger, and aggression occur and, accordingly, to a decrease in domestic violence. The project will run until April 2028.
