What it is about:

The programme contributes to the reduction of GBV&DV and improves the response measures of the target group and the intermediary structures in the three provinces. The aim of the programme is to ensure that community-based and gender-sensitive services for prevention and for better understanding and dealing with gender-based violence and its consequences exist and are used by community members. Offerings in the form of self-help groups lead to the use of positive coping strategies when symptoms of fear, anger, and aggression occur and, accordingly, to a decrease in domestic violence.
