Cardiology
The field of "cardiology", supervised by Dr Kolck as a large subspecialty of internal medicine, deals with the structure and function of the heart, as well as the circulatory system within the human organism. Cardiology deals with the diagnosis and therapy of diseases of the cardiovascular system. For this purpose, the most modern examination and treatment methods are used and carried out on our ward, with the highest level of expertise in accordance with the latest guidelines.
Knowledge of cardiovascular diseases and their development is a prerequisite for their prevention. Accordingly, special emphasis is placed on the recognition and treatment of risk factors.
