What it's about:
In Rhino Camp settlement, TPO Uganda has mobilised and trained 1,266 traumatised groups, 86% of whom were women. In 2023, TPO Uganda has graduated 361 groups in the different zones of the settlement. These groups have participated in cognitive behavioural therapy sessions and have shown improvement in their social behaviour.
This short-term intervention targets 20 existing groups with an average of 20 members each in Omugo settlement, supported by trauma healing. The project will provide seed money to the 20 graduated groups.
