Das erwartet Sie

NAEP-TBI aims

  • to evaluate commonalities and differences in neurorehabilitation after ischemic (ischemic stroke, hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy) in comparison to traumatic brain injuries (TBI).
  • to evaluate sex- and gender-specific factors regarding duration, intensity discharge modalities of neurorehabilitation and inclusion after ischemic vs. traumatic brain injuries.

Thereby, this survey will set the basis for a prospective European Consortium study on specific neuropsychiatric rehabilitation after brain injuries that will help to paving the way for personalized medicine and inclusion after brain injury at its best.

Current project status

  • The EAN driven survey is completed.
  • Quantitative results have been analyzed, qualitative results need to be analyzed, and we are currently working on the result interpretation.
  • Original peer-reviewed paper needs to be prepared together with the participating EAN scientific panel members (EAN Coordinating panel on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Neurology, EAN Scientific panel on Neurorehabilitation, EAN Scientific panel on Neurotraumatology, EAN Scientific panel on Stroke).
