- The Venerable Order of St John (also known as St John International), acts as a supporting body for national St John organisations with a focus on initiatives such as the Mother and Baby programme in Africa, disaster preparedness in Caribbean countries, and social enterprise development to strengthen first aid training and the sustainability of national associations.
- From mobile clinics in Malawi to eye clinics in South Africa, ambulance services in Australia and New Zealand, kidney dialysis in Malaysia, hospice care in Antigua and first aid worldwide, the Venerable Order of St John provides essential medical care every day to thousands of people.
- In 2017, St John organisations delivered first aid, healthcare and support services in more than 30 countries, with over 250,000 volunteers and staff. They trained more than 2,3 million people and reached over 2 million people worldwide.
